The upcoming Google Pixel tablet is likely to remain a mystery for some time. Leaks and initial bits of information are sure to come, but Google has been tight-lipped about the device since announcing its existence at Google I/O and hoping to release it in 2023. Still, we’ll take what little information we can gather around this new Pixel tablet.
Today, people at 91 Mobile It is being reported that Google has shipped the new Pixel tablet to India which could be the ultimate-Ish Form developer Kuba Wojciechowski relayed the information, saying that the device is actually entering the EVT (Engineering Validation Test) phase of its development cycle and has caught shipments in India, which could reveal some specs.
The information posted in this report sure looks like shipping import information that was put together to figure out the specs. Imports offer a 10.95″ (11″) display, 128GB and 256GB storage options, WiFI 6 support and a stylus. I’m not sure they tell the true story of our Pixel tablet, but it helps fill in some parts.
Related import information also mentions the codenames “Tangor” and “T6”, which we captured above. That G950-08221-01 reference number is something you might want to track down if tracking the progress of Google’s Pixel tablet as it makes its way around the world is something you’ve been doing.
As long as this tablet is the exact opposite of the Pixel C and Pixel Slate, we should be fine.
