Here are my thoughts after 2 months with Galaxy S22

I have completed my full review Galaxy S22 On February 24, I concluded that this is a very good phone with some of the best Android hardware I have, battery life straight The stench. Usually after a Galaxy review, I’ll go back to my trusted Pixel phone, but this time something strange happened – I kept using the Galaxy S22.

Now let me share what my experience has been like using the phone for a hard 2 months.

Samsung Galaxy S22

Still a great phone, still bad battery life

This phone has a sub-4,000 mAh battery, and this is what Power Hungry Apps and Qualcomm processors are all about these days. We hear that processors are becoming more energy efficient while producing more power, but as an end user, I haven’t really noticed much difference in the performance of the phone in the last 4-5 years. These days usually everything is pretty smooth, so the big thing I see as a user is the battery life. In Galaxy S22, it is suboptimal.

I am constantly plugging my phone in at noon, especially if I know I will not be home after dusk. Oops, I have a concert tonight? Make sure the phone has juice. Going to the gym for a late sweat session? Charge the phone. Want to get in the hot tub late at night and play Lewdle today? Curse phone charge. This is a constant problem, and while it’s annoying, I’m still very much attached to this phone.

You may be wondering why I can be loyal to the Galaxy S22, even though it constantly wants to die on me. To put it bluntly, the Pixel 6 is a subtle phone, I’m the kind of person who always seems to have a problem with it. No matter how much I love Google’s Android 12, it’s a really bad experience. The software looks (and in most cases seems) much better than Samsung’s current One UI, but at the end of the day, I want a phone that will work when I want to do 9.9x out of 10. Currently, this is not the Pixel 6. Thanks for the update, it’s been a lot better, but you understand my point.

Galaxy S22 + could play

I ordered a Galaxy S22 + in gray on March 17th. It has been shipped today and is expected to be delivered next Monday. Finally! I think I would love that phone. No, it’s not a one-handed use like the Galaxy S22, but as long as I don’t have to worry so much about the battery, I’ll be very satisfied. I will have a large display for gaming and watching YouTube videos, which is always a bonus, also I know the camera system will be fine because it is similar to the smaller Galaxy S22.

I wondered why Plus Models exist, but with the Galaxy S22 range, I know exactly why. The smaller Galaxy S22 has a ridiculously smaller battery and the Ultra has an S Pen that I’ll never use and a curved screen that I won’t care about. I really hope the Galaxy S22 + answers my cries. Fingers crossed, but don’t worry, I’ll be sure to update all of you.

Do I have a colleague here who owns a Galaxy S22? Thinking now after using the device? The best phone of all time? Woes the same battery as me? Let us know!
