Rumor has it the iPhone 14 case molds leak is showing the expected big camera bump

An image has surfaced online claiming to show the upcoming iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Specifically, these are not the devices themselves but the case molds that accessory manufacturers will use to ensure that their new cases will be compatible with Apple’s new devices.

The image, which was shared on Weibo, shows devices that match previous hardware leaks, including that Apple will resize the entire lineup this year. As MacRumors Point out, there is no iPhone 14 Mini, for example.

After seeing lazy iPhone mini sales, Apple is offering larger iPhone sizes for its flagship devices: a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 models are expected to look similar to the iPhone 13 models with the same flat-edged design.

We hope that Apple’s new devices will have bigger cameras than before while the overall look of the iPhone 14 lineup is expected to mimic the outgoing iPhone 13. Apparently, no firm release date has been shared by Apple, but the expectation is that we’ll see Apple announce new devices in or around September.

The software that will run on the new iPhone, Apple is likely to announce iOS 16 at the opening ceremony of the WWDC22 event on June 6.
